Oil on canvas · 40 cm × 40 cm
About this artwork
Morgane Herculano is shown reclining in profile, her hair flowing to the right. The blue background and white folds in the foreground complement the warm skin tones. Guillaume Denoun builds this square portrait around light, the direction of her gaze and the movement of her hair.
